Her story is one of heartbreaking loss, deep resilience, and ultimately, a purpose-driven life that’s helping countless other women heal.

In this week’s Quiet Connection episode, Tianna opens up about losing her first pregnancy during the holidays, facing postpartum depression, and navigating a system and culture that told her to grieve in silence.

“HR told me my loss didn’t ‘count’ for bereavement. My community told me to stay silent. I didn’t know where to go, or who could possibly understand.”

Embracing healing: understanding that miscarriage is not a failure and allowing yourself the space to grieve.

Through faith, persistence, and a promise made on her bathroom floor, Tianna eventually found healing — and welcomed two healthy children. Along the way, she built Love Served Warm, a space where women can learn body literacy, balance their hormones, and prepare for pregnancy (if and when they choose) without shame or stigma.

The Importance of Talking About Pregnancy Loss

Despite the fact that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss, the stigma around miscarriage and stillbirth remains heavy. Tianna’s story is a reminder of why we must bring these conversations into the light — for the parents grieving, for the partners whose grief often goes unseen, and for those who will one day need to know they aren’t alone.

“I went through a test so I could have a testimony. I went through the dark so I could hold the light for someone else.”

By sharing openly, Tianna not only found her own voice but created a lifeline for women who are often left behind by the current healthcare system.

Love Served Warm: Healing Through Service

Through Love Served Warm, Tianna helps women with PCOS and hormonal imbalances take control of their health. Her approach combines education, sustainable lifestyle shifts, and compassionate support.

“Living authentically — as a neurodivergent family, as someone who’s been through loss — is a protest in itself. When people see us thriving, they start to believe they can too.”

5 Quick Tips for Healing After Pregnancy Loss

  1. Grieve your way. There’s no “right” timeline or process for healing.

  2. Find your community. Support groups and peer connections can be life-changing.

  3. Support your physical recovery. Hormonal balance, rest, and nutrition matter for emotional health.

  4. Communicate with your partner. Grief looks different for everyone, but you’re carrying the same wound.

  5. Advocate for your care. Therapy, medication, or a second opinion can all be valid parts of healing.
